We arrived home yesterday to find some largish parcels awaiting us. The cableinternettelephonemediaconglomerate UPC had drop shipped our do-it-yourself installation kits for Internet, Telephone, and Cable (with DVR even!).
Who woulda thunk that DIY only includes instructions in Dutch? Not I.
Dictionaries are tough for entire sentences. Babelfish makes some humorous translations. None of them can get the 4 green lights that mean 'good' to simultaneously light up on our cable modem. Soon I will learn some short and direct Dutch words to shout at this machine. Perhaps I need to place it in the magnetron for a bit.
