Liliane arrived with an open mind and is already shifting (or adding to) her Elmo obsession with a local favorite. A Nijntje is not a stealthy Japanese assassin but rather a harmless Hello-Kitty-like rabbit character. There is a Nijntje store on Beethovenstraat, and this glass was certainly just the start of all sorts of Nijntje paraphenalia of which tantrums will inspire our purchase. We're already planning alternate routes around that road...
